Fried Goat Cheese Balls

These keto-friendly deep fried goat cheese balls are so flavorful and creamy! Serve them along side your favorite dressing!

What Do I Need To Make fried Goat Cheese Balls?

You will need:

4 oz soft herb goat cheese

salt & pepper & garlic powder

avocado oil/lard/tallow for frying

1 egg beaten with a splash of water for egg wash

almond flour- (we used this brand: Nature’s Eats)

crushed pork rinds (we used these 4505 crumbles)

Fried Goat Cheese Balls

Ingredients

  • 4 ounces goat cheese with herbs or plain 
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup crushed pork rinds
  • oil for frying
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 egg
  • salt
  • pepper

Instructions

  1. Keep your goat cheese in the freezer to harden it before you start cooking
  2. Cut into 6 portions
  3. Gently roll the cheese by hand into a ball
  4. Dredge in almond flour, egg and into pork rinds (remember to add some salt, pepper, and garlic to each of your dredging stations!) 
  5. Set on a plate and put in the freezer to harden for at least an hour
  6. Add 2 inches of oil to a pot
  7. Gently drop the balls straight from the freezer into the hot oil. 
  8. Cook for 1-2 minutes until golden brown
  9. Drain on paper towels
